BILCO UK & Europe is a founder member of FACTA and specialises in access through the horizontal surface and providing engineered access solutions

BILCO access doors and hatches represent just about the most efficient and secure route through the floor, either internal or external, and in over 18 years and 50,000 hatches in all kinds of situations we’ve never had a failure.

Safety and security are ‘key’ aspects within our designs, locks and hinges are all enclosed not exposed, tolerances between opening leaf and the frame are tight, and adaptable designs make the incorporation of client specified locks a simple matter.

Ease of operation is guaranteed by our patented counterbalanced spring mechanisms, which means that anyone, working alone, can operate the largest door within the parameters of the Manual Handling Regulations. For example, it actually needs a force of just 2kg to operate a 500kg hatch.

All BILCO hatches are designed and fabricated to a consistently high standard and supported by a comprehensive warranty scheme to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
