The FACTA trade mark is a registered trade mark. Members are encouraged to use this as a badge of excellence and its use is restricted to Members.
The FACTA specification is well recognised and used extensively in the construction industry by contractors, builders' merchants and importantly, by the specifiers including architects and consulting engineers.
The growing emergence of non-metallic materials being used for access covers reinforces the need for metal access cover manufacturers to maintain a strong and vibrant trade association that represents Member's views where new standards are being generated and existing standards that are subject to review. FACTA has excellent working links to BSI, The Health & Safety Executive and the Department for Communities and Local Government in respect to potential Building Regulation changes.
FACTA membership gives a ring-side seat to learn of developments and changes to standards and regulations directly affecting manufacturers and the construction industry enabling key strategic decisions to be taken.
An opportunity to meet fellow Members in a non-competitive environment and exchange industry views.
Meetings held three times per year with user and industry related speakers invited to present a wide variety of topics to Members.
